AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTIVITY
Agricultural productivity of a nation can be measured in terms of inputs and outputs. Agricultural productivity is the ratio of agricultural inputs to agricultural outputs. Agricultural productivity is important for any nation’s growth. If a nation shows optimum agricultural productivity, it means that scarce agricultural resources such as land, fertilizers, seeds and water have been distributed efficiently. A nation can be competitive in the agricultural exports market only if its agricultural productivity is excellent.
